SHIPPING POLICY

All orders are processed within 3 to 5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.

Please note that due to Covid-19 pandemic restrictions, we have been experiencing unexpected delays with our courier and delivery service providers that are outside of our control. We will do our best to keep you updated on delays that we are aware of and thank you for your understanding in advance. For delivery updates, send us an email to tac@theartcave.com.au.

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

For calculated shipping rates: Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. 

For simple flat rate shipping: We offer AUD$10 flat rate shipping within Australia.

Local delivery

Free local delivery is available for orders $75 and over, within a 5km radius of Willoughby, NSW. For orders under $75, we charge $5 for local delivery.

Deliveries are made 11am to 3pm on Saturdays and Sundays. We will contact you via text message with the phone number you provided at checkout to notify you on the day of our arrival. 

In-store pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at our pick up address. After placing your order and selecting "Pickup" at Checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 to 3 business days. We will send you a text message when your order is ready along with instructions.

Our in-store pickup hours are 9am to 5pm on Monday to Friday. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.

International Shipping

At this time, we do not offer international shipping. You can email us at tac@theartcave.com.au for international orders and we will consider shipping individual orders on a case-by-case basis.

In the event that we do take your International shipping order, your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Senses by The Art Cave is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 12 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at tac@theartcave.com.au with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Shipping to P.O. boxes

Some carriers have limitations around shipping to P.O. Boxes. In some instances, our shiping providers may reject orders to P.O. Boxes. In that instance, you can provide an alternative shipping address or we can provide a full refund for the order.


 EXCHANGE, RETURNS & REFUND POLICY

Exchanges, Returns & Refunds

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at tac@theartcave.com.au and send your item to: 22 Penshurst Street, Willoughby, NSW, 2068, Australia.

We do not take returns for a change of mind. In the event that the item arrived damaged or defective, we will either offer a replacement or a full refund.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
